Chabad GSB supports and impacts over 1000 lives a year and strives support local Chabad communities by raising over 70 million dollars to build key facilities and opportunities like kosher eating options, schools, groups, mikvahs, community spaces, and programs for everyone. Founded in 1984, Chabad of Greater South Bay is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. (EIN/tax ID number: 77-0104029 ). Ninety percent of Chabad GSB's expended resources are devoted entirely to Jewish life enhancing program activities.
Unlike designated donations, flexible funding can be directed where it’s needed most, allowing Chabad to respond quickly and comprehensively to urgent needs.
